Coming in Spring 2008

Well. The self-imposed internet exile is really paying off. In addition to three or four new songs written in the past week, the end of the first draft of Harvey is well in sight. I’ve also polished up a new short story and I’m thinking that I just might have to podcast it.
Many of you that visit this site got to know me through the Crescent podcast; you became accustomed to a certain level of saturation. I was everywhere. Now there seems to be a period of radio silence. I’m finding it difficult to be consistently present on the interwebs and also maintain an acceptable level of productivity. From a marketing and promotion standpoint, laying low on the digi-web front isn’t the greatest thing, right? Well, what I have an even harder time reconciling is spending more time on promotion than I do on creating new material. Actively pursuing both writing and music don’t leave all that much room on the plate.
That being said; I do have some new things planned for the web.
So stay posted.
Well–it was only five month’s worth of ideas…I’m less distraught than I would’ve imagined. I was probably able to salvage about 65-70% of the pages. I’ll call the other 30% shit and drivel not worth turning into prose.

Dear winter,
Your frozen precipitation antics are getting rather irritating. If I come home today and find there is no electricity, well, let’s just say I’ll be less than pleased. So, if you’d be so kind as to quit this nonsense, it would be appreciated.
Hugs and kisses,
Phil
I woke up liking the idea of the new PhilRossi.net even more. In other news, my Tuesday is full. I think you’ll all see why I’m so hard to get a hold of as this pretty much represents a typical day.
In an attempt to create a web site that I could update easily and frequently (this is as relative a term as you can get) I’ve turned to word press. Excuse the dust. I’m working on making this cozy and functional. This will be a place for thoughts, for information, and whatever the hell else I feel like tossing up here.
So yeah. Simple is the theme.
